Solis

Solis is a coffee table inspired by the phenomenon of a solar eclipse, where light and shadow

merge in a harmonious interplay. Like an eclipse that reveals and conceals, Solis explores the

contrast between presence and absence, light and shadow, the solidity of stone and wood,

and the softness of fabric. Solis features a rounded rectangular base in satin-finished metal

and a tabletop that alternates between marble and fabric. The marble, with its deep and ever-

changing texture, evokes the lunar surface, while the softness of the fabric introduces an

unexpected tactile and visual contrast.

The result is a refined balance between strength and delicacy, geometry and fluidity. Highly

modular, Solis can serve as additional seating in a living space and be used as a single unit or

combined to create a customizable low table.
