In the heart of the Abu Dhabi desert, a masterplanning project takes
shape distinguished by the depth of its concept: time. In an extreme
natural setting, the proposal envisions a medical and wellness center
with a circular configuration, inspired by the metaphor of a large clock.
This iconic form is not only a visual reference but embodies the very
mission of the place: to offer a meditative pause from the time that,
in contemporary society, accelerates relentlessly, marking ever more
chaotic rhythms.
With a holistic and integrative approach, the center aims to be a
refuge for body and mind. Spaces dedicated to curative treatments
and health beauty coexist with a fully equipped gym, recovery areas,
and spaces for psychophysical well-being. The circular architecture
encourages integration among the various functions, so each
environment becomes part of a cyclical and harmonious journey,
symbolizing the reclaiming of time for oneself.
